Poor documentation by Panalpina and their carriers led to our shipment being delayed for months and having to pay customs in Indonesia the sum of $1400 for storage fees. We billed Panalpina for the excess charges which our documentation shows they were at fault. All attempts to resolve this issue have been ignored by Panalpina. We have lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The shipment missed it's sailing twice due to their inability to keep track of the shipments location. Finally after arriving in Balikpapan, Indonesia, they had misspelled the consignee's name so customs would not release the shipment. Poor service and poor resolution of this issue.
