Description

Jesica Archie is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner working at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. She cares for pediatric patients with focus on patient-centered care and comprehensive family education. Jesica has worked in pediatric nursing since 2007, first as a registered nurse at Greenville Children's Hospital and Richland Children's Hospital in Columbia, SC. After earning her MSN from MUSC's CON in 2010, Jesica began work as a nurse practitioner in the pediatric orthopaedic department at MUSC. There, she provided care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions such as spinal deformities, traumatic fractures, and sports related injuries. Jesica relocated to Florida in 2018, at which time, she worked in the pediatric surgery department at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando. Jesica led the outpatient burn clinic, provided laser services to patients with pilonidal disease, and performed bedside procedures. Jesica's clinical interests include burn and wound management, injury prevention, and providing comprehensive patient education.
