Emily Deng, OD

Description

Emily Deng, OD, earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry. She then completed a residency in pediatric ocular disease at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio, providing extensive care to children of all ages and abilities. Dr. Deng strives to create a thoughtful and supportive environment for children and their families, working together to provide a personalized care plan. She is passionate about amblyopia, myopia control, as well as specialty contact lens fitting. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and a part of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group. In her free time, Dr. Deng enjoys baking, playing tennis, and trying new foods.
