Kristine Meister, PNP

Kristine Meister, APN, is a 2019 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is dual board certified in both acute care and primary care pediatrics. She has been a pediatric nurse for 10 years and a pediatric Hematology/Oncology nurse practitioner for 2.5 years. During her first year as a nurse practitioner, Kristine completed a specialized APN fellowship in Hematology/Oncology to further advance her knowledge and clinical expertise in the area. Kristine worked for over a year as an inpatient nurse practitioner, focusing on administering chemotherapy and managing side effects as well as procedures such as bone marrow biopsy and aspirate and lumbar punctures. Kristine’s passion lies in making connections with her patients and families in order to improve their treatment experience and outcomes.
