Michael R. Cotter, D.D.S.

Description

A diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Dr. Michael Cotter, brings extensive patient care experience from private practice and academic health center settings. He established his practice in Mount Pleasant, SC, in 2021 after he and his family relocated from New York, where he had founded two practices. He also practiced and taught at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Cotter proudly serves as a Major in the US Army Reserves. He is a founding member and past president of the International Academy of Endodontics and a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Cotter earned his D.D.S. from NYU College of Dentistry, where he served as class president for four years. He then completed a one-year general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a two-year post-graduate program in Endodontics at NYU, where he served as chief resident in his second year.
